What hardware or software do I need to use the Electronic Physician Record® (EPR®)? All EPR® Products are web based, so there is no hardware to buy or maintain and no software to install. You can access the system from anywhere you have an internet connection and a web browser. We take care of all the server maintenance and daily backups.

How many users are included in the subscription? There are no restrictions on the number of staff that can access the system. You control who has access and what they can see.

I already have provider demographic information stored in another database; can you copy the data into the EPR® system? Some software is open to queries or data exports. If this is the case, we can usually copy the information. However, some databases are 'closed' by the manufacturer. These can't be copied. Please give us a call and we'll be happy to discuss your particular situation.

Since the Electronic Physician Record® (EPR®) uses the web, how safe is my data? EPR® uses the latest technology to protect your data. A careful implantation of encryption, firewall protection and system architecture have been brought together to provide the best possible security. Medkinetics, the parent company of EPR®, also develops banking software, and we use the same standards imposed by financial institutions to guard your information. All of our web applications are certified by Hacker Safe.
